My research is focused on the intersection between professional and technical writing, digital rhetoric, and the public. I am especially interested in networked, organizational communication and how scientists and technical communicators utilize those networks in sharing work with the public. I have also researched technical editing, usability, affect theory, environmental rhetoric, and the rhetoric of data and data visualizations.
